In association with Culinary Competitions International events, a new television show - currently in production - Global Bites - further reinforces CCI’s ability to creatively market and build brand awareness globally for their clients’ commodities.
Hosted by internationally renowned celebrity chefs, including entrepreneur, and headliner Fabio Viviani, the Global Bites television show challenges us to see the foods we all know and love in a new light.  From fertile soils to the international dining table, Global Bites explores specific growing regions and extraordinary growing practices of the farmer. Each episode follows celebrity chefs such as Viviani - and his guest farmer - as they dive head first into what makes THIS produce the best in the world.  The journey continues as chef and farmer take their produce to a different international destination to see how chefs of exotic cultures incorporate their product into the local cuisine.
Our host chefs take an everyday farmer, straight out of the fields, on an exciting and adventure filled trip to the other side of the world. Here, this farmer will experience a whole new culture while discovering new culinary techniques for his own commodity. Through delectable dishes and breathtaking locations, we see two very unique worlds become one.  In each episode, our host chef challenges three or more executive chefs – each from a leading international hotel within that region - to create their finest, ethnically appropriate dishes using the farmer's produce.  At the conclusion, the farmer and celebrity chef are treated to these dishes and discuss the unique approaches each chef has taken.

Fabio Viviani – Celebrity Chef / National TV Star


Fabio Viviani is perhaps best known for his appearance on the Bravo Network’s hit reality series Top Chef with his performance earning him the “Fan Favorite” title. He returned to Top Chef to compete in the Top Chef All Stars Edition and a spinoff culinary reality show, Life After Top Chef. Most recently Viviani competed in Food Network’s reality series Cutthroat Kitchen, finishing as the victor amongst sixteen other A-list celebrity chefs. These on-screen appearances have propelled him into becoming one of the fastest growing household names in the country. Viviani appears on nationally televised cooking segments regularly, and is a reoccurring guest on television shows such as Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Talk, The Chew, Good Day LA, Access Hollywood, and Hallmark Channel series Home and Family. Viviani is also the host of the Telly and Webby award-winning web series Chow Ciao! on Yahoo, one of the top 10 most viewed lifestyle and food shows on the internet.

Off screen, Viviani is a regular headliner at global food events and festivals, He is most notable for headlining Savor the Central Coast and a recurring headliner at the Sunset Magazine Celebration Weekend. He sells his own signature line of products including the Fabio Viviani Wine Collection and a ceramic cookware co-branded Aeternum Evolution. In addition, he is a proud endorser of beloved brands such as Bialetti Cookware, Bertolli Olive Oil, and Yahoo. Chef Fabio Viviani – The Early Years


The roots of Chef Fabio Viviani’s passion for food can be traced halfway around the world and back through the years to his childhood days in Florence, Italy. He found his love for cooking at the early age of 11 by working nights at a local bakery because he was too young to officially join the staff. Throughout his teenage years he held several positions in the restaurant industry, including apprenticing under Simone Mugnaini, an iconic figure in the Italian restaurant scene.

Viviani trained in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine at the prestigious IPSSAR Saffi , working with culinary luminaries such as Simone Mugnaini, Alessandro Panzani, and Saverio Carmagini. He balanced his studies with owning and operating five restaurants in Florence, a Farmhouse, and two nightclubs by the time he was 27 years old.

A Restaurant Sensation


Though he was well-established in the Italian world of business and cuisine, he was ready to expand his influence by moving to Southern California. Soon after his move he opened Café Firenze in Moorpark and popular eatery Firenze Osteria in North Hollywood. In 2013, Viviani teamed up with Chicago’s most innovative restaurant consulting group, DineAmic, to open Siena Tavern in the heart of their home city. Siena Tavern has received accolades from Michigan Avenue, Chicago Tribune, Thrillist, and several others, prompting the recent opening of another location in Miami. Viviani and DineAmic are set to open a new steak house, Prime & Provisions, as well as a craft cocktail and small plate concept, Bar Siena, in 2015. He has already opened two locations of Mercato By Fabio Viviani in Chicago, another in sunny San Diego, and is set to open several more in the coming years.
